In addition, the Loan Closer will work diligently with title agencies on closings and ensure that there is compliance with all regulations. The Loan Closer types accurate closing documents, submits closing fees to the title agency, reviews CD/HUD statements and closing docs, prepares coupon books, and funding wires/checks.Tracks and manages closed loan files on the loan software and team calendar.Completes the loan checklist to indicate all documents needed in order to have a complete loan file.Cross trains within the team and works closely with the Processor to ensure proper coverage and backup. Transfers and passes off loan files in a timely manner.Complete all other tasks/duties as needed while maintaining great customer service internally and externally. Other duties as assigned. The role involves performing post-closing functions for all loan types and handling loan maintenance requests submitted to the department. The ideal candidate will also be expected to provide high-quality customer service to MNB's valued customers, addressing inquiries, conducting follow-up, and researching any issues that arise. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Book Commercial, Real Estate, and Simple Interest loans, ensuring timely and accurate entry into the servicing system.Perform post-closing functions for all loan types.Handle loan maintenance requests and ensure they are processed efficiently.Provide excellent customer service by answering customer inquiries, performing follow-up, and researching loan-related issues.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy and compliance in all loan servicing activities.Maintain knowledge of loan products, processes, and regulations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Work closely with Quality Control to minimize errors and ensure loan servicing standards are met.
